**THE ROLE: **
As a Staff Financial Analyst within AMD’s Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, you’ll be at the heart of strategic decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across business units, influence financial outcomes, and contribute to long-term planning. You’ll develop financial models, analyze performance metrics, and present insights to senior leadership that shape AMD’s future. This is a dynamic, high-impact environment where your analytical skills and business acumen will be fully engaged.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: **
- Support the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans
- Analyze financial results and KPIs to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Build and maintain financial models to guide business planning and strategic decisions
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and consistent financial data
- Deliver clear, actionable insights through presentations and reports to senior management
- Contribute to ad-hoc analysis and special projects that drive business performance
- Monitor industry and economic trends to assess potential financial impacts
- Uphold compliance with corporate financial policies and procedures
**PERFERRED EXPEREINCE: **
- Background in financial analysis, ideally within a corporate FP&A setting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; financial modeling expertise
- Experience with data analysis using SQL, Snowflake, Power BI, or related tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
**ACADEMIC CREDITIALS: **
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred
