Staff Frontend Engineer responsible for delivering the frontend experiences of Zendesk's AI Copilot product, which integrates AI-powered capabilities for customer service agents and administrators. This role involves end-to-end feature ownership, technical leadership, and collaboration with ML Engineers and backend engineers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and deliver end-to-end frontend features — from technical design through implementation, testing, release, and iteration.
  2. Provide technical leadership across multiple teams, setting architectural direction and raising the bar for engineering quality and delivery practices.
  3. Build polished, performant, and accessible user interfaces that surface AI-powered capabilities to customer service agents and administrators.
  4. Work closely with Product Management and Design to turn product requirements into well-scoped, high-quality user experiences.
  5. Collaborate with ML Engineers and backend engineers to integrate AI-powered features seamlessly into the frontend.
