Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Ph.D. in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related professional/military experience
  • Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance
  • Demonstrated experience with fixed‑wing aircraft dynamics and fly‑by‑wire control systems
  • Demonstrated experience in system‑engineering requirement definition, verification, and validation
  • Demonstrated experience in system test program execution
  • Demonstrated experience with MATLAB and Simulink for data processing, analysis, visualization, and dynamic‑system modeling
  • Professional experience with Flight Management Systems (including, but not limited to, RNAV)
  • Experience using model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) tools

Nice to have

  • Experience analyzing non‑linear closed‑loop aircraft simulations
  • Familiarity with C/C++ and Python programming
  • Experience developing and integrating autopilot and autothrottle capabilities into Vehicle Management Systems
  • Experience using CAMEO to create system requirement models
  • Experience using System Composer to create software architecture
