Staff Industrial Engineer role focused on process improvement, efficiency, and factory layout within an industrial manufacturing environment. What you'd actually do

  1. Positively impact the financial bottom line by working with other engineering and non-engineering disciplines and departments to eliminate waste and improve processes
  2. Work directly with program directors / PMO / finance on LRSP requirements
  3. Support programs and briefings to both external and internal customers on plant capacity
  4. Support program proposals and non-advocate reviews
  5. Provide mentoring and drive consistency with other Industrial Engineers

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM
  • 12 years of engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience
  • DoD Secret Clearance
  • Manufacturing Execution System (MES) experience
  • Microsoft Office Tools
  • Excel (macros, data mining, pivot tables)
  • Data mining, data analysis, or data visualization software applications (Tableau)
  • Factory simulation / modeling (Flexsim)

Nice to have

  • Industrial Engineering degree
  • 15+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in planning and managing new program ramp-ups
  • Experience training all levels and all functions of a manufacturing organization in continuous improvement / lean tools
  • Microsoft Project

What the JD emphasized

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
