What you'd actually do

  1. Implement key business improvement initiatives for manufacturing lines within a site.
  2. Define opportunities, analyze data, design manufacturing line flows, and improve business processes.
  3. Implement projects at the site, developing a continuous improvement culture.
  4. Plan and execute process performance improvements related to waste/MUV and/or productivity of the manufacturing area.
  5. Perform Capacity Modeling activities, including time studies, head count reviews, and utilization analysis to optimize staffing and resource deployment.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align capacity plans with organizational goals and support strategic planning.
  7. Guide and mentor junior team members in capacity planning and process improvement initiatives, fostering data-driven decision-making.
  8. Apply Lean and Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
  9. Drive continuous improvement through structured Kaizen program, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing cost.

Skills

Required

  • Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Quality Management or related field and 3 years of experience
  • Process and quality improvements for manufacturing lines
  • Data analysis and software (Excel, Qliksense, Power apps, Autocad, JDE’s, SAP and PBI)
  • Process improvement techniques including Lean, Six Sigma, JJOS, routers and BOM's creation
  • Project Management software and tools including Project Charter, Tactical Implementation Plan and Microsoft Project
  • Applying Process Excellence methodology
  • Conveying complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels including manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, process quality, and quality operations
  • Fostering a culture of Continuous Improvement in manufacturing
  • Knowledge in Product Cost (Std Cost) with changes in JDE’s and SAP, and connection with Profit and Loss balance
