Staff Nvh Engineer, Active Noise Control (anc)

Rivian Rivian · Auto · Irvine, CA · Attributes

Seeking an Engineer to lead the technical development and integration of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) systems within Rivian's vehicle platforms. Responsibilities include reducing cabin noise, maintaining technical accuracy, and meeting project milestones under production timelines. Requires expertise in ANC design, tuning, validation, automotive implementation, and specific tools like Siemens Simcenter Testlab and Audio Weaver.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the technical development and integration of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) systems within our vehicle platforms.
  2. Define technical paths forward when faced with complex engineering constraints and ambiguous system requirements.
  3. Responsible for the reduction of cabin noise across low-to-mid frequency bands, maintaining technical accuracy and meeting project milestones during high-pressure delivery cycles.
  4. Manage own workstreams and deliver results under strict production timelines.
