Staff Product Manager for Cloud Security Architecture at Rubrik, focusing on ensuring Rubrik's cloud product offerings meet enterprise security expectations and are secured from cyber-attacks. This role involves translating customer security challenges into product requirements, driving the long-term security vision and roadmap, and implementing enhancements for industry-leading security standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Works closely with cloud product and engineering teams to develop a deep understanding of the Rubrik cloud product architecture
  2. Act as a primary evangelist for the cloud product security and work with customers and account teams to define and evolve the roadmap across multiple dimensions (UX, technology, business) and deliver commercially viable security features and integrations across the Rubrik cloud portfolio
  3. Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and manage the execution across all cloud products, ensuring they meet platform security standards.
  4. Lead and develop product risk identification, assessment, and resolution prioritization for high-impact platform vulnerabilities.
  5. Partner with and influence senior cross-functional stakeholders—including InfoSec, Engineering, User Experience, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Support—to align vision across business units and secure project approval and resources.

Skills

Required

  • Experience or desire to be in Product Management, with at least 3 years focused on enterprise cloud product development with hyperscalers, ideally in a hands-on technical or architecture role.
  • Prior experience as a Security Architect, Solutions Architect, or Senior/Staff Engineer is highly desirable
  • Expertise in cloud security and threat modeling and working knowledge of big 3 hyperscalers with specific experience in cloud security posture management or secure cloud integration and defining secure architectures for solutions built on hyperscaler infrastructure.
  • Practical experience with API security, microservices architecture, and container security (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • Demonstrated success in owning and managing the strategy and execution of multiple, high-impact products simultaneously, leveraging a deep understanding of the underlying technology stack.
  • Proven ability to define, scope, and deliver large, complex features, leveraging deep technical acumen to define architecture, requirements, and measurable KPIs/goals while engaging effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in the following security domains:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent work experience; advanced degree and/or relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CCSP, CISSP, CCSK) highly desired.
