Responsibilities include evaluating subcomponents, supporting characterization and test activities, designing circuit cards, testing inverters, analyzing circuits, and debugging issues.

What you'd actually do

  1. Join a highly capable team to design industry-leading power electronic conversion units
  2. The Power Electronics Engineer will evaluate and validate the subcomponents for the traction power inverters
  3. Support characterization and test activities under the direction of senior engineers
  4. Design a circuit card for the traction power inverter
  5. Test traction inverters in the lab, dyno, and vehicle
  6. Analyze circuits using Spice, Mathcad, PLECS, and other tools
  7. Debug issues and solve problems when they arise
