We're looking for an exceptional Staff Product Designer to help shape the future of our crypto experiences. Crypto is one of the most complex and rapidly evolving spaces in technology, and the design problems we're solving don't always have strong precedents.
You'll take on a highly influential role shaping product vision and execution across key crypto and international initiatives: new trading products, expanded wallet capabilities, decentralized finance, and international growth. You'll partner with cross-functional leaders, contribute to strategic decisions, guide design across multiple projects, and mentor other designers.
This is a role for someone who uses AI as a core part of how they design, and raises the bar for everyone around them.
This role is based in our Bellevue, WA, Menlo Park, CA, and New York, NY office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do
- Drive the outcome from end to end. Partner with product and engineering to define the right problems, validate solutions, and ship experiences that change how customers interact with crypto. Stay close to the work through launch and beyond.
- Start with AI. Use AI to explore problem spaces, surface edge cases, stress-test ideas, and generate early prototypes. Let AI accelerate the work while you guide intent, structure, and quality.
- **Bring clarity to complexity. **Crypto is dense: on-chain transactions, new token types, decentralized protocols, launches in new countries. Absorb that complexity so users don't have to, making the default experience simple and trustworthy.
- **Raise the bar for craft. **Drive design quality across multiple projects. Mentor other designers. Share prompts, patterns, and ways of working that make the team sharper and faster.
- **Stay close to the signal. **Talk to customers, run lightweight tests, and use data to adjust direction.
What you bring
- Extensive product design experience working on complex, consumer-facing products at scale, with strong end-to-end ownership
- Active use of AI in your design workflow: you already use LLMs to think through problems, explore approaches, and move faster
- Strong systems thinking: you balance micro and macro perspectives, building cohesive design patterns that scale across multiple products
- A track record of partnering deeply with engineering, product, research, and legal
- Crypto curiosity: deep crypto expertise isn't required, but genuine eagerness to learn the space is non-negotiable

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected base pay range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

$191,000—$225,000 USD
Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)
$168,000—$198,000 USD
Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL)
$150,000—$176,000 USD
