What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end development for Firefly Enterprise Engine Studio, with emphasis on Video adaptation workflows for social and outcome-focused use cases.
  2. Scalable, extensible plug-in solutions across Adobe products and third-party platforms.
  3. Partner closely with engineering, product management, and applied research to prototype, test, and refine intelligent tools.
  4. Drive a customer-centric build approach, translating enterprise needs into usable, expressive, and scalable solutions.
  5. Mentor and guide other junior designers on the team—providing craft feedback, career mentoring, and design leadership support.

Skills

Required

  • 15+ years of experience in product, systems, or interaction composition, with experience building complex tools or platforms.
  • Strong design craft paired with a systems mindset—you’re comfortable building for scale, extensibility, and automation.
  • Experience designing AI-assisted, generative, or automated workflows, especially for creative professionals in the video space.
  • Technical proficiency and comfort collaborating on APIs, plug-in architectures, or platform ecosystems
  • Hands-on expertise with prototyping tools (Figma, motion tools, or vibe-coding tools).
  • Experience mentoring or guiding other designers and influencing the quality of compositions beyond your immediate scope.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with global teams, particularly across India–US time zones.
  • A deep belief in user-centered development, accessibility, and inclusive experiences.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing accessible and inclusive interfaces for people with disabilities.
  • Familiarity with WCAG standards and testing for accessibility compliance.
  • Certifications such as CPACC, WAS, CPWA, or ADS from IAAP are a plus.
