Staff Product Manager

Deel is seeking a Staff Product Manager to drive the next phase of their Benefits product area, focusing on improving the employee-facing product experience and building new capabilities like flexible benefits and integrated financial services. The role involves zero-to-one product development, defining how employees discover, select, and manage benefits globally within the Deel platform.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive execution across the employee benefits experience, partnering with engineering and design to ship high-impact improvements that strengthen Deel Benefits as a global benefits platform
  2. Lead discovery to deeply understand the employee experience across different markets, ensuring benefits are intuitive, accessible, and valuable to end users
  3. Own and deliver new product initiatives,including upcoming capabilities such as flexible benefits where employees can allocate benefit budgets across different services
  4. Partner closely with Design and Engineering to build high-quality, well-crafted product experiences, bringing strong product taste and attention to user experience
  5. Work closely with multiple engineering teams and technical leads to deliver solutions quickly while maintaining scalability and reliability

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience
  • Proven ability to build and launch products from zero to one in fast-moving environments
  • Strong product craft with excellent design intuition and user-experience judgement
  • Experience building consumer-quality (B2C-style) product experiences within complex platforms
  • Ability to work closely with multiple engineering teams and drive delivery in highly collaborative environments
  • Strong product strategy, discovery, and execution skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication across technical and non-technical teams
  • Comfort operating in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on shipping and iteration

Nice to have

  • Experience in fintech, payments, or financial products is highly valued, particularly in transaction-based systems
