Staff Product Manager to lead the development of Risk and Compliance Investigation products, focusing on AI/ML-powered tools, multi-agent frameworks, and evaluating model performance for detecting, preventing, and investigating fraudulent and high-risk seller behavior on Walmart Marketplace.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define the long-term vision and strategy for the Seller Risk and Compliance Investigation product portfolio.
  2. Lead the ideation and development of Gen AI and AI/ML-powered risk detection and investigation tools with hands on experience of building and deploying multi-agent frameworks and evaluating model performance and trade-offs.
  3. Own the product roadmap, prioritize features, drive user experience designs and manage the product backlog to deliver maximum value.
  4. Collaborate with engineering, data science, risk operations, legal, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful execution.
  5. Leverage strong analytical skills and data to inform product decisions, measure impact, and identify new opportunities.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of product management experience
  • at least 3+ years in the risk, fraud, or trust and safety domain
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts
  • experience shipping products that leverage these technologies
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce/fintech risk landscapes
  • Exceptional data analysis skills
  • proficiency with tools like SQL, Python, or data visualization platforms
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field

Nice to have

  • Experience with Gen AI is a significant plus
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area
  • 6 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products
