Stripe is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the product strategy and execution for their priority industry verticals, focusing on complex and regulated sectors like insurance, healthcare, and the public sector. The role involves identifying unmet needs, building 0-to-1 products, and influencing the broader product organization to meet enterprise customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive product management experience, technical fluency, customer obsession, analytical rigor, strong communication skills, high agency, and an entrepreneurial mindset, with a track record of shipping products in regulated environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and execute the multi-year product strategy for your priority vertical.
  2. Identify unmet needs through deep customer research, data analysis, and market intelligence. Lead the full product lifecycle for industry-relevant functionality - from problem definition and technical scoping with engineering, through PRD, API and UX design, build, launch, and post-launch iteration.
  3. Work deeply with our largest customers, partners, and GTM teams. Translate "market noise" into clear product signal - shaping feature requirements, and defining the data models and integration patterns that enterprise customers in your vertical need.
  4. Influence Stripe's core product teams (Payments, Billing, Connect, and beyond) to ensure their roadmaps reflect the requirements of enterprise customers in your vertical.
