The Trade Desk is seeking a Staff Product Manager for their Pharma vertical. This role requires deep expertise in pharma media and advertising, including HCP and DTC campaign workflows, specialized data partnerships, and regulatory frameworks. The product manager will own the product vision and roadmap for pharma and health media capabilities, manage complex integrations, define requirements for audience segmentation and measurement, build compliance frameworks, and collaborate with engineering and data science teams on data architectures. The role also involves representing the company externally and anticipating regulatory shifts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the product vision and roadmap for pharma and health media capabilities across The Trade Desk platform, including HCP targeting audience activation workflows, and integrations with health-native DSPs and data partners.
  2. Serve as the primary product owner for complex integrations with health-native DSPs and specialized health data platforms, ensuring seamless activation, measurement, and reporting for pharmaceutical advertisers.
  3. Partner with pharma brand teams, agency trading desks (including health-specialist agencies), and data partners to identify capability gaps and translate them into scalable product requirements.
  4. Define and drive requirements for HCP audience segmentation, measurement, health identity workflows, and data partnerships across The Trade Desk's ecosystem.
  5. Build and operationalize compliance frameworks specific to pharmaceutical advertising in close partnership with Legal, Privacy, and Policy teams.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in pharma media and advertising
  • deep hands-on expertise across HCP and DTC campaign strategy, planning, buying, or product
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the health media ecosystem
  • Proven experience managing complex product integrations with health-native DSPs and specialized health data platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of the regulatory and compliance landscape governing pharmaceutical advertising
  • Technical fluency sufficient to partner credibly with engineering teams on API design, data pipeline architecture, identity resolution, and access control models
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment
