What you'd actually do

  1. The Staff Principal Program Cost Control Analyst (PCA) will serve as a lead PCA providing Business Unit level program planning and financial control support within one of the following sector divisions:
  2. The PCA will interface with the program managers, functional management, cost account managers (CAMs) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
  3. The PCA will prepare program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled and perform schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks.
  4. The PCA will monitor costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
  5. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME), the PCA is responsible for providing guidance and knowledge transfer regarding policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance to company and Business Management processes.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of related professional experience - OR - a Master's degree with 10 years of related professional experience
  • Experience with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts and ability to apply them to multiple contracts, CLINs and control accounts.
  • Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis
  • Experience preparing and presenting complex financial analysis to management and external customers
  • Experience in mentoring and training junior team members
  • Strong PC skills - specifically Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, Vlookup, and conditional formatting)
  • Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.
  • US Citizenship is required
  • A current/active U.S. Government Secret level security clearance is required

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration or related field
  • Experience with S4, COBRA, PM Compass, COGNOS
  • Experience with government Cost Accounting Standards, FAR, & DFARs
  • Level 1 EVMS Customer Reporting experience
  • Experience with program planning and scheduling
