What you'd actually do

  1. Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
  2. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
  3. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  4. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  5. Provide Subject Matter Expertise in military aviation, preferably US Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance operations

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's with 12 years, Master's with 10 years, or 16 years in lieu of degree in Project Management, Program Management or Government Program Office Experience
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • SAP, ERP or other related business software application
  • active U.S. government Top Secret Clearance

Nice to have

  • Sustainment experience (supporting spares & repairs)
  • Special Program Access
  • Familiarity with US Air Force training programs, including officer, non-commissioned officer and enlisted training
  • Familiarity with Geographic Combatant Commands
  • Working knowledge of Global Force Management including force development and force offering requirements and processes.
