What you'd actually do

  1. Lead and support development and integration of radar subsystems and components to meet platform mission objectives
  2. Requirements development, analysis, maturation and implementation, translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
  3. Lead and support functional and performance analyses
  4. Lead and support detailed trade studies
  5. Lead and support risk analysis and developing mitigation plans and tracking to closure

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 12 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master’s degree in a (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 10 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. (STEM) AND 8 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering
  • Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands)
  • Experience designing, developing, integrating, and/or testing RADAR subsystems for airborne platforms
  • Experience in decomposing, deriving, allocating and tracing requirements from system to component level
  • Experience with working on a multidisciplinary team and writing technical proposals
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company
