Staff Research Scientist, Google Ads Genai

Google Google · Big Tech · Mountain View, CA +2

Research Scientist role focused on adapting Gemini models for Google Ads using prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and reinforcement learning. The role involves developing novel ML modeling techniques, working with LLMs for targeting and retrieval, collaborating with DeepMind and Search teams, and publishing research findings.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop novel ML modeling techniques that influence products.
  2. Work with and fine tune LLMs for targeting, large-scale retrieval, pseudo-rater, and other ads applications.
  3. Work with researchers and engineers in Google DeepMind and Search.
  4. Work with product teams to develop and deploy user-facing products.
  5. Publish papers at leading ML conferences.
