What you'd actually do

  1. Lead Signal Integrity(SI), Power Integrity(PI) implementation in advanced autonomous driving hardware systems, Sensors and hardnesses.
  2. Develop and implement simulation methodology for PCB, high speed channel and SOC to optimize SI/PI performance.
  3. Model complex 3D structures, such as PCB Connector and cables
  4. Extract and characterize high speed channel and compliance against industry standards
  5. Lead high speed interfaces validation in lab with high end scope, VNA and spectrum analyzer

Skills

Required

  • MS (PhD preferred) in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Degree, with 6 + years of industry experience
  • Experience with design and implementation of high speed electrical interfaces, such as PCIE Gen4/Gen5, high speed or automotive ethernet, DDR/LPDDR4/5, MIPI, HDMI, USB,etc
  • Good EM knowledge and proficient at SI/PI simulation tools, HFSS/SIwave, ADS or Cadence Sigrity.
  • Solid understanding transmission line theory, S-parameter, signal processing and PCB material, Stackup and fabrication process.
  • Strong lab skills and experience with VNA, real time Scope, spectrum analyzer and TDR, etc

Nice to have

  • Experienced with automotive hardware development
  • Experience with mix signal design
  • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Perl or Python
