What you'd actually do

  1. Author Requirement Verification Plans (RVPs) and System Test & Verification Plans for each Integrated Functional Capability (IFC).
  2. Lead technical reviews and secure cross-functional approval for verification methods within the RVP.
  3. Review Verification Data Products from System Test to confirm they meet the intent and scope of the specification.
  4. Create Requirement Verification Reports (RVRs) and System Test & Verification Reports to formally close out IFC activities.
  5. Coordinate internal and cross-IPT reviews of RVRs, and manage the customer comment and approval process.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor of science degree in a STEM field and 12 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a Master of science degree in a STEM field and 10 years of relevant military / professional experience, OR a PhD and 8 years of relevant military / professional experience
  • active US Government Top Secret clearance
  • ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • experience supporting Systems Engineering Milestones SRR, PDR and CDR
  • experience in the full lifecycle of Systems Engineering, including requirements decomposition, test planning, requirements verification and requirements management
  • experience in requirements and verification management in DOORS
  • experience with requirement decomposition and traceability from System to Unit/Supplier Specifications
  • experience with managing suppliers with technical requirements and verification expectations
  • experience leading a technical team

Nice to have

  • Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Experience in ICD development and integration
  • Experience with multiple disciplines across Systems Engineering, incl. requirements, integration, technical configuration management (CM or Technical Baseline), cyber
  • Experience with Agile Design Methodology
