Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer - Cybersecurity Project Lead to provide execution leadership, tasking, and direction to a team of Cybersecurity Engineers. The role involves leading the development of Cybersecurity design solutions, coordinating reviews, developing requirements and verification plans, and instructing on agile concepts. Requires a STEM Bachelor's degree with significant experience, a Top Secret clearance, and experience in full lifecycle Systems Engineering and project leadership.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide execution leadership, tasking and direction to a team of Cybersecurity Engineers.
  2. Lead the development of Cybersecurity design solutions and artifacts.
  3. Coordinating reviews and approvals of Cybersecurity development and implementation plans, design guides, processes, and procedures.
  4. Develop Cybersecurity requirements and verification plans
  5. Review test procedures and analyze test results for compliance with Cybersecurity requirements and verification plans.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelors of Science degree in a STEM field or higher
  • 12+ years of relevant military / professional experience (or 10+ with Masters, 8+ with PhD)
  • Systems Engineering Milestones SRR, PDR and CDR experience
  • Full lifecycle Systems Engineering experience
  • Requirements decomposition, test planning, requirements verification, and requirements management experience
  • Active US Government Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Experience leading an engineering team or project
  • Experience as Control Account Managers and baselining of contracts
  • Experience with requirement decomposition and traceability
  • Experience with implementation and deployment of capabilities and tracking of configurations

  • Active US Government Top Secret SCI clearance
  • Current applicable Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
