Staff Technical Program Manager

The Staff Technical Program Manager will drive strategic, cross-functional programs across Anduril's Software Platform, which builds the integrated platform behind Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system for defense technology. This role requires technical depth and organizational leadership to translate complex engineering efforts into actionable plans, manage stakeholders, and ensure technical outcomes ship on time. The TPM will define and execute roadmaps, manage cross-team projects, and establish program management standards and KPIs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Help define and execute the roadmap for SWP, working across groups to de-risk dependencies and keep teams aligned on what ships when
  2. Autonomously execute with a high degree of ownership on broad requirements, managing stakeholders across the Software Platform organization, Business Lines and other company partners simultaneously and delivering successful outcomes
  3. Manage, unblock, and accelerate cross-team projects spanning multiple functional teams and cross-functional initiatives. Instill an efficient project management mindset and workflow across the teams
  4. Collaborate with product leads to scope, staff, and deliver capabilities that achieve company milestones, while supporting leads with staffing plans and prioritization
  5. Help define and serve as the Software Platform champion for our program management standards, tools, processes and mechanisms

Skills

Required

  • 12-15+ years experience as a TPM in a high-paced, software development environment
  • Robust technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, software development lifecycle, challenges, trade-offs and risks; ability to work closely and effectively with engineering teams
  • Strong experience and familiarity in project management for software development; practical familiarity with a variety of methodologies and ability to apply them where best suited
  • Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence as well as understanding of Agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive decisions
  • Experience is rolling out wide-ranging organizational process changes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Nice to have

  • Experience in building programs for software deliverables from ground up
  • Ability to work within organizations with minimal structure and with minimal direction
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, GIAC-PEN, Prosci, SAFe or PMP
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an engineering discipline
