Staff Technical Program Manager, Sentry Hardware Development

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Irvine, CA · AFS : Counter Intrusion Engineering : Technical Program Management

This role is for a Staff Technical Program Manager focused on hardware development for Anduril's Sentry platform, which integrates AI, computer vision, and robotics for defense applications. The TPM will lead hardware product development from concept to scaled production, partnering with engineering teams, managing manufacturing transitions, and ensuring system reliability for mission-critical autonomous platforms. The role requires extensive experience in hardware product development, system integration, and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced, defense technology environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead hardware product development across core subsystems and full system integration into high-performance, mission-critical autonomous platforms.
  2. Partner with engineering leads to plan, execute, and deliver design, build, and test milestones through production readiness.
  3. Drive design for manufacturability (DFM/DFA), supplier engagement, and hand-off to manufacturing and supply chain teams.
  4. Manage prototype builds, integration events, and system-level validation and reliability testing.
  5. Own risk management and schedule execution for hardware deliverables; escalate blockers and drive resolution.
