Program Manager for Ford's Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team, responsible for integrating cross-functional teams to develop the next generation of EV vehicles. The role involves product concept, architecture, and financial planning, leading teams to deliver on time and with quality, and creating efficient product development processes.

What you'd actually do

  1. Use your customer, engineering and business skills to integrate cross functional teams to deliver compelling, feasible and viable products.
  2. Lead and manage team setup, program assumptions, change control, communication, issues management, financial estimates, and industrialization plans.
  3. Lead teams to deliver on time and with quality, setting up schedule with cadence of key decisions, checkpoints, deliverables, etc.
  4. Plan the business case of the vehicle with finance, manufacturing, marketing, etc.
  5. Create and effectively deploy a more efficient product development process.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience working on production vehicle development, from concept to launch
  • 5+ years of experience in Program, Project or Product Management & Strategy, or as Design Engineer
  • Customer Focused Vehicle Planning Program Management
  • Strong collaboration skills to integrate vehicle cross-functional teams
  • Strong program management and planning skills
