Starbucks Barista at Target responsible for providing a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by curating handcrafted Starbucks’ Food quality and freshness management, adhering to state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines. Responsibilities include greeting guests, helping them find items, resolving issues, supporting team efforts, executing food and beverage processes, following Target and Starbucks routines, supporting Drive Up, maintaining the dining area, producing beverages and food, following food safety requirements, completing cleaning tasks, processing damaged/recalled/expired items, placing store-initiated orders, following inventory procedures, executing sampling, completing training, and demonstrating ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments:
  2. Actively support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude
  3. Deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing a fresh and abundant shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.
  4. Execute food and beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, instocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and organizing, and storing reserve product.
  5. Produce hand crafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards.

Skills

Required

  • Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
  • Work both independently and with a team
  • Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
  • Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
  • Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

Nice to have

  • Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required
  • Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
