Databricks is seeking an Emerging Enterprise Account Executive to sell their Unified Data Analytics and AI platform to the Australian market. The role involves prospecting, building pipeline, engaging with decision-makers, driving partner engagement, and exceeding revenue targets. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of SaaS sales experience in ANZ, with a focus on Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology, and a solution-oriented sales approach.

What you'd actually do

  1. Evangelize Databricks' Unified Analytics Platform powered by Spark and launch the Databricks brand in Enterprise Accounts across all industries
  2. Prospect, identify and source new sales opportunities, building pipeline individually and with the Databricks SDR team
  3. Engage with business and technical decision-makers and lead them through the evaluation and buying process
  4. Exceed individual activity, pipeline and annual revenue targets
  5. Engage with and drive business through local partners (technology partners, ISVs, SIs and GSIs)

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of experience selling SaaS solutions to Enterprise and/or Digital Native Customers in ANZ
  • Proven success in Enterprise Sales roles, ideally in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology
  • Demonstrable experience in selling innovation, ideally in Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology
  • Solution and business-outcomes focused sales approach (Command of the Message, MEDDPIC, Challenger Sale)
  • Ability to simply articulate intricate cloud & big data technologies and their business value for the customer
