Startup Account Executive at Databricks, responsible for selling the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to new and existing customers. Requires experience in sales processes, understanding products, and communicating value. Reports to a regional sales manager.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build a territory plan within 30 days with a clear account prioritization strategy.
  2. Align existing customers with the Lakehouse vision and ecosystem.
  3. Be able to range from faster transactions to large strategic deals.
  4. Maintain clear Salesforce and Clari hygiene, including use case, MEDDPICC, revenue forecasts, and account notes.
  5. Lead with a customer-first mindset and focus on business value

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of closing sales experience
  • Prior experience in big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales
  • Be able to quickly learn new technologies and value propositions
  • Experience exceeding sales KPIs and quotas
