This role is a Partner Development Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing on building and managing relationships with startup ISV partners in the infrastructure space (Networking, Storage, Database). The primary responsibility is to drive adoption of AWS services among these partners and their customers, leading to revenue growth and market adoption. The role involves strategic planning, GTM program execution, sales engagement, and managing partner pipelines and revenue targets. It requires a blend of business development, partnership management, and technical acumen related to cloud infrastructure and the startup/VC landscape.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with a select group of new and existing Startup Infrastructure partners to define and execute joint sales and Go-to-Market (GTM) programs.
  2. Serve as a key member of the Partner and Business Development teams in helping to deliver the overall Infrastructure Start-up partner strategy and value proposition.
  3. Engage assigned Infrastructure partners field sales organizations, channels and end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities for AWS.
  4. Create a strategic partner development plan for target Infrastructure partners and customers, and ensure it's in line with the overall AWS Start-up strategy. This includes developing detailed account plans to manage and track the progress of each partner organization and achievement against partner goals.
  5. Set and manage revenue targets and work with the partners and AWS sales organizations to achieve/exceed goals.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
  • Experience managing strategic relationships with partners
  • Experience driving C-level, Product Team, Marketing, Field and Channel relationships
  • Experience increasing revenue growth and market adoption
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
  • Strong technical acumen
  • Extensive knowledge of the Start-up & VC landscape
  • Experience with CRM systems, data warehousing and other analytic tools
  • Experience managing complex contract negotiations
