Intel is seeking a Static Timing Analysis (STA) Engineer to join their BE Integration team, focusing on the design of future generation high-performance Intel microprocessors. The role involves advanced timing analysis, integration, optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure silicon meets performance requirements, power, frequency, and area targets. The engineer will also contribute to improving physical design methodologies and flow automation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support Static Timing Analysis (STA) activities to ensure silicon meets performance requirements. (SIO - section integration owner)
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical challenges and propose practical solutions.
  3. Participate in discussions with internal teams and external partners to understand requirements and improve deliverables

Skills

Required

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with STA tools (e.g., PrimeTime) and APR tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys)
  • Strong interest in STA, silicon development, or integration processes.
  • Basic understanding of timing concepts and digital design principles.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proactive approach with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to learn independently and adapt quickly to new challenges.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with Ai Tools for scripting
