What you'd actually do

  1. Drives the design, development, and application of sound data practices through the advancement of algorithms and statistical techniques including descriptive statistics and inferential methods, multivariate analysis, regression analysis, etc.
  2. Conducts statistical analyzes to derive conclusions from the study, identifies and quantifies sources of variation, discovers patterns in the data, and draws conclusions that go beyond the observed data.
  3. Identifies new opportunities for reports and value-added analytics, researches new methods in statistics, data science, and machine learning.
  4. Writes reports, develops dashboards, and prepares data visualizations.
  5. Integrates internal and external data to test concepts, evaluates markets and opportunities, optimizes and refines products and services, and explores areas for growth.
