Stock Plan Analyst

This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Visa’s global equity programs, including equity recordkeeping, reporting, and reconciliation. The Stock Plan Analyst ensures the accuracy and integrity of all equity data within stock plan systems and works closely with employees and cross-functional partners to deliver a high-quality equity administration experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Administer and support multiple global equity plans, including Non-Qualified Stock Options, and Employee Stock Purchase Plans (ESPP).
  2. Process equity transactions such as grants, vesting, exercises, lapses, and cancellations, and support payroll and tax reporting related to equity events.
  3. Maintain equity records across third-party stock plan administration platforms (experience with Bank of America/Merrill Employer Sponsor platform preferred).
  4. Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Tax, Payroll, Accounting, Audit, Financial Reporting, and Human Resources.
  5. Support insider trading compliance programs, including monitoring blackout periods and trading activity.

Skills

Required

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience administering equity compensation programs at a public company.
  • Experience supporting global equity programs and multiple equity award types.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Customer-service mindset with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.

Nice to have

  • Experience with a third-party outsourced stock administration system (Merrill Lynch system a plus)
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) Level 1 or greater designation a plus.
