Strategic Account Executive (benelux)

Datadog is seeking a Strategic Account Executive for the Benelux region to target and close new business with large, strategic customers. The role involves understanding customer pain points in cloud environments, delivering Datadog solutions, and managing relationships within Fortune 1000 companies. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of closing experience, a proven track record of meeting sales goals, and experience in innovative tech companies, preferably in SaaS or IT infrastructure.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process
  2. Maintain, build and own specific relationship maps for your territory including existing relationships and aspirational contacts
  3. Develop a deep comprehension of customer's business
  4. Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
  5. Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory
