Datadog is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to target and close new business with their largest, most strategic customers and prospects. The role focuses on understanding customer pain points in cloud environments and delivering Datadog solutions, emphasizing sales process efficiency, relationship building, and value-based negotiation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process
  2. Maintain, build and own specific relationship maps for your territory including existing relationships and aspirational contacts
  3. Develop a deep comprehension of customer's business
  4. Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
  5. Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory
