Datadog is seeking a Strategic Account Executive to target and close new business with large, strategic customers. The role focuses on understanding customer pain points in cloud environments and delivering Datadog solutions. The company positions itself as an observability and security platform for the AI era, supporting high-growth AI leaders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process
  2. Maintain, build and own specific relationship maps for your territory including existing relationships and aspirational contacts
  3. Develop a deep comprehension of customer's business
  4. Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
  5. Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory
