Datadog is seeking an experienced Federal, Civilian Sales Executive to drive revenue targets within new Civilian Agencies. The role involves prospecting, building relationships, understanding customer needs, negotiating deals, and ensuring forecasting accuracy. Experience in innovative tech companies and selling into large enterprises is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process
  2. Maintain, build and own specific relationship maps for your territory including existing relationships and aspirational contacts
  3. Develop a deep comprehension of customer's business
  4. Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
  5. Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory
