Datadog is seeking a Strategic Account Executive for its Iberia region to target and close new business with large, strategic customers. The role involves understanding customer pain points in cloud environments, delivering Datadog solutions, and managing relationships to drive sales.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process
  2. Maintain, build and own specific relationship maps for your territory including existing relationships and aspirational contacts
  3. Develop a deep comprehension of customer's business
  4. Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI
  5. Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years closing experience
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding direct sales goals
  • Experience in working for an innovative tech company
  • Experience selling into large Fortune 1000 companies
  • Ability to win new logos
  • Sales methodology (e.g., MEDDIC, Command of the Message)
  • Pipeline generation and management

Nice to have

  • SaaS, IT infrastructure or similar preferred experience
  • Field selling experience
