Datadog is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Executive (SLED) to drive revenue targets within State, Local, and Education organizations. The role involves prospecting, building relationships, negotiating deals, and managing existing customer expectations, with a focus on selling Datadog's observability and security platform.

What you'd actually do

  1. Prospect into large State, Local, and Education organizations while running an efficient sales process
  2. Maintain, build and own specific relationship maps for your territory including existing relationships and aspirational contacts
  3. Develop a deep comprehension of customer's business
  4. Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large SLED enterprises by selling value and ROI
  5. Handle existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory
