Strategic Account Executive for GitLab, an intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps. The role involves supporting strategic prospects and customers, providing account leadership in the pre- and post-sales process, conducting sales activities, and ensuring successful product rollout and adoption. The candidate will act as the voice of the customer, generate leads, expand industry knowledge, prepare reports, and contribute to win/loss analysis. A consultative approach is required to develop proposals and sales presentations addressing customer business needs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supports GitLab’s [strategic large](https://handbook.gitlab.com/handbook/sales/field-operations/gtm-resources/#segmentation) prospects and customers.
  2. Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process
  3. Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities in large/strategic accounts
  4. Ensure the successful rollout and adoption of GitLab products through strong account management activities and coordination with pre-and-post sales and support resources
  5. Be the voice of the customer by contributing product ideas to our [public issue tracker](https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues)

Skills

Required

  • Experience selling into large organizations
  • Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills
  • Ability to use GitLab
