Strategic Finance Manager

This role is for a Strategic Finance Manager at Glean, a company focused on making knowledge work faster and more humane through AI. The role involves managing the company's budget, driving financial planning, allocating resources, conducting financial analyses, and ensuring financial and operational data integrity to enable strategic decision-making. The candidate will engage with the business on forecasts, reporting, and analysis, establish cost efficiency metrics for hosting and LLM costs, and partner with various teams to align strategies with financial goals.

What you'd actually do

  1. Engage with the business to manage headcount and expense forecasts, own monthly financial reporting, KPIs, presentations, and other critical analysis requests
  2. Establish key hosting and LLM cost efficiency metrics across products, and regularly monitor, analyze, and report on these metrics to drive improvement
  3. Engage in all finance-related activities, including FP&A, financial operations, and both regular and ad-hoc reporting and analysis to drive strategic business decisions.
  4. Partner closely with the SalesOps team to audit business activity and assist with ARR reporting
  5. Work closely with strategic finance, accounting, and GTM teams to align product and GTM strategies with broader financial goals and considerations.
  6. Establish and implement scalable reporting dashboards and scorecards to track key operational and financial metrics

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, FP&A, or Data Analytics field
  • Strong project management abilities
