Strategic Hunter Account Executive - Retail

This is a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive role focused on selling Databricks' data and AI platform to high-growth Retail accounts. The role requires a seasoned salesperson with experience in value selling, cloud/SaaS sales, and exceeding quotas, with a focus on closing net new business.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will be selling to high-growth Retail accounts.
  2. You will be responsible for closing net new logos.
  3. Meet with C-Level Executives to Practitioner level to understand how Databricks can make an impact on business outcomes
  4. Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
  5. You will use a creative, fail-fast approach to selling and creating value for customers

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience with Open Source Technologies and build vs buy decision-making
  • 5 -10 years of experience with Value Selling Methodologies
  • Sales experience within big data, Cloud, or SaaS sales
  • Proven years of experience exceeding sales quotas

Nice to have

  • Passion for selling a highly technical product in the cloud
  • A creative salesperson with a well-defined prospecting motion
