This role focuses on managing and optimizing large-scale client implementations within the healthcare sector, specifically for Oracle Health. The Strategic Implementation Owner will oversee the entire implementation process, drive process improvements, act as a liaison between teams and clients, and ensure successful deployment of solutions. The role requires strong project management, EHR implementation, and process optimization experience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee and optimize large-scale client implementation strategies, ensuring they are aligned with both the client’s needs and our organizational goals.
  2. Drive process optimization efforts and identify areas for improvement, ensuring more efficient and streamlined deployments with fewer bottlenecks.
  3. Serve as a subject matter expert on internal tools, systems, and processes, ensuring smooth, consistent deployment activities across all projects.
  4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams, offering expert guidance and fostering collaboration across departments, including project management, deployment, and operations.
  5. Lead training efforts for internal teams to ensure they are up to speed on new strategies, methodologies, and process changes.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, EHR implementation, or process optimization
  • Significant experience in client-facing roles
  • Deep understanding of implementation strategies and process improvement methodologies
  • Background in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive impactful changes
  • Exceptional communicator with the ability to manage relationships and collaborate effectively across diverse teams and departments
  • Ability to solve complex problems, develop strategic solutions, and execute changes that improve overall project success
  • Skilled at training and mentoring teams on new strategies and process changes to ensure adoption and continuous improvement

Nice to have

  • 2 years of experience with EHR Implementation
  • Six Sigma experience
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle tasks independently
  • Proficient in collaborating with stakeholders to optimize processes and drive continuous improvements
  • Experienced with Agile, Scrum, or similar project management methodologies
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, data manipulation, reporting, and project tracking)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and excellent follow-through
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and navigating complex, evolving environments
  • PMP Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
  • Knowledge of working with the Federal Sector
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
