Plaid is seeking a Strategic Partnerships lead for their Credit team, focusing on building and scaling partnerships within the lending and credit industry. This role involves market strategy, deal execution, and partner growth, working with internal teams and external stakeholders to expand Plaid's solutions for income verification and cash flow underwriting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and drive assessments of new target markets in the credit/lending industry and identify high propensity partnership targets. Lead targeting strategy by employing outbound, marketing, sales strategy alongside product and marketing counterparts.
  2. Own all aspects of the partner deal cycle (strategy, prospecting, discovery, alignment, negotiation, execution) with support from our cross-functional teams (product, implementation, commercial, legal).
  3. Elevate our partner relationships through key milestones – from completed integration to “first customer live” to scaling. Collaborate with teams such as product and implementation to enable continued growth.
