This role is a Strategic Planning Manager for Northrop Grumman's Space Sector. It involves formulating strategies, analyzing market trends, supporting financial planning, and managing R&D investments. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree with significant experience in strategic assessment, strategy development, and financial analysis, along with a Top Secret security clearance. Experience in the aerospace and defense or space industry is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Formulating strategies for NG Space Divisions by identifying internal and external strategic factors that could impact growth and market. Includes prioritizing market segments, mission areas, and ensuring alignment with the overall Sector strategy.
  2. Analyzing and synthesizing data and insights regarding addressable market and customer budgets, competitor trends, key strategic issues, and other core strategic planning needs.
  3. Supporting development of the financial Annual Operating Plan.
  4. Supporting multi-year investment planning, partnering with Strategy, Business Management, Program teams, and the Chief Technology office.
  5. Developing Division-specific investment recommendations to align to overall Sector strategy and investment guidance.
