Strategic Planning, Operations and Analytics Lead

This role involves strategic planning, operations, and analytics for Meta's sales and go-to-market teams. The lead will collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify and structure high-priority programs, develop strategy and operating models for a large budget portfolio, and partner with cross-functional teams on data architecture and user experience for technological solutions. A key aspect is partnering with data science to shape targeting/machine learning models and utilizing AI/ML techniques to analyze large datasets for growth strategies. The role also involves developing analytics capabilities, using Generative AI to automate SQL code, leading end-to-end analytical projects, and presenting data-driven insights to senior leadership. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree and significant experience in analytics, project management, and leading technology transformations, with a strong understanding of statistical modeling and customer targeting.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with VPs and other senior stakeholders to identify and structure high-priority programs / initiatives and process improvements across sales and go-to-market teams, to create efficiency, operational excellence, and increase ROI.
  2. Partner with data science to shape targeting / machine learning models to optimize value created for advertisers and partners.
  3. Develop analytics capability across sales programs planning and operations teams, using Generative AI to develop & automate SQL codes to help streamline operations; indirectly manage or lead analysts to advance analytical rigor across the team.
  4. Lead end-to-end analytical projects, including planning, design, development, insights, project communications, and executive storytelling – in a consistent and structured manner, using SQL / advanced data modeling and data visualization tools.
  5. Present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership, influencing strategic decision-making and driving business outcomes through effective communication and collaboration.

Skills

Required

  • Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration Business Analytics, Analytics, Operations Management, Finance or a related field and 10 years of work experience in the job offered or in a related field
  • Conducting analysis using proprietary and market data, such as revenue, product, market, and industry trends, to derive insights that drive strategic business decisions
  • Leading complex end-to-end analytic projects, including planning, design, analysis, stakeholder management, and communication
  • Project management experience building detailed project plans, leading project launches, and ensuring the smooth running of business rhythms
  • Advanced communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and insights to C-suite executives, leading to strategic decisions being made
  • Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and goals for complex, technology-driven business initiatives
  • Excel knowledge and technical skills, and experience with a variety of technical tools (e.g., SAS, SQL, R, Tableau, PowerBI) to scale insights for business decision making
