Strategic Sales Development Representative

This role is for a Strategic Sales Development Representative focused on driving adoption and growth of DoorDash's Commerce Platform solutions, such as Online Ordering, for SMB restaurants. The role involves high-volume outreach to identify needs, decision-makers, and qualify interest in additional products, partnering with Account Development to generate pipeline.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify, engage, and qualify high-potential merchants and key decision makers across your assigned accounts
  2. Conduct high-volume outbound outreach through calls (65+ per day), email, and other channels to surface interest in additional DoorDash solutions
  3. Partner closely with Account Development teammates to advance qualified opportunities and move expansion efforts forward
  4. Tailor messaging and discovery based on merchant needs, context, and solution fit
  5. Strengthen your skills in consultative discovery, value-based storytelling, and opportunity qualification

Skills

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in high-volume outbound outreach or sales development
  • A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding activity and performance goals (daily, weekly, or monthly)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage merchants in thoughtful conversations
  • A proactive, self-directed approach to problem solving and managing your work
  • Creativity in outreach and messaging that sparks interest and opens doors
  • The ability to help merchants understand the value additional DoorDash solutions can bring to their business
  • Comfort navigating sales processes and tools in a fast-paced environment
  • A willingness to learn quickly, adapt to change, and incorporate feedback to improve performance
