What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and implement sourcing strategies for Audio/Speakers sub-systems, addressing current and future technical and commercial requirements across Metaverse, Wearables, and emerging device programs
  2. Collaborate with Audio engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, product design, and supplier teams to optimize for Performance, manufacturability, and cost-efficiency for Audio/Speakers
  3. Drive strategic supply chain direction and innovation with product design and technology operations, focusing on next-generation Audio solutions
  4. Lead negotiations for purchase agreements, NRE, capacity reservation, and long-term supply contracts to secure optimal terms and ensure supplier accountability for program deliverables across the Audio/Speakers Supply Base
  5. Champion cost reduction programs utilizing should-cost models and data analytics tailored to Audio/Speakers manufacturing

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in materials science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain management, business, or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of sourcing experience in fast-paced consumer electronics, automotive, or equivalent industry, with direct exposure to Audio/Speakers
  • Experience in supplier evaluation/selection, should-cost modeling, contract negotiation, and supply base management for Audio/Speakers or comparable high-complexity commodities
  • Experience with cost drivers and experience building bottoms-up or should-cost models for Audio/Speakers (including raw material, bill-of-process, and capex amortization)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to run supply modeling and analysis
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Experience ramping high-volume consumer electronics or wearable products with Audio content
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Established relationships with tier-1 Audio suppliers
  • Experience working with CMs, ODMs, OEMs, and pack houses in the Audio domain
