Shield AI is looking for a Senior Sourcing Specialist to manage procurement for construction and capital projects, focusing on facility expansions and infrastructure investments. The role involves leading sourcing activities, managing RFPs/RFQs, negotiating contracts, and partnering with engineering and operations teams to ensure timely project delivery. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead sourcing and procurement activities for construction and facility expansion projects, including contractor selection, bid management, and vendor negotiations.
  2. Partner with Facilities, Engineering, and Operations teams to support the development and build-out of new manufacturing and engineering facilities.
  3. Manage RFPs/RFQs for construction vendors, general contractors, and specialty subcontractors, evaluating proposals based on cost, capability, and schedule.
  4. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and project terms with construction suppliers and service providers.
  5. Coordinate with site selection partners, project managers, and internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities align with project timelines.

Required

  • 3–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain
