This role focuses on driving strategic alignment and operational excellence for Uber's Delivery business in the LatAm region. The associate will transform data into actionable insights, lead high-impact initiatives, and partner with cross-functional teams to support business growth. Key responsibilities include strategy development, execution, cross-functional partnership, communication of insights, prioritization, and business performance analysis. Basic qualifications include experience in strategy, consulting, or finance, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication. Preferred qualifications include experience with AI tools, a proactive mindset, and proficiency in analytical tools like SQL and Python.

What you'd actually do

  1. As part of the Delivery (Restaurants) LatAm team, you will help drive key strategic priorities across the region, with direct responsibility for the ACAC markets (7 markets).
  2. Lead end-to-end strategic initiatives that unlock growth opportunities across LatAm, with direct ownership of strategy development and execution for ACAC markets. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities that support long-term business growth and operational excellence.
  3. Serve as a strategic partner to local and central teams, fostering alignment on business priorities, execution timelines, and cross-functional dependencies. Collaborate effectively across commercial, operations, product, finance, and other stakeholder groups to drive successful outcomes.
  4. Develop clear, data-driven presentations and written recommendations that communicate strategic insights, project progress, and business results to senior leadership. Translate complex analyses into compelling narratives that support informed decision-making.
  5. Prioritize strategic initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and business needs. Apply structured problem-solving approaches to address complex challenges and accelerate execution.

Skills

Required

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Strategic Planning, Corporate Finance, or a related analytical field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets to identify key trends, opportunities, and priorities that inform business strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise narratives and executive-level presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience using structured problem-solving methodologies to navigate ambiguity and develop actionable recommendations.
