Strategy Manager role responsible for positioning, articulating, and operationalizing key initiatives within the Americas Distribution Services Division (ADSD). This role will serve in a chief of staff capacity to the ADSD SVP and senior leadership team, driving alignment and enabling execution of top priorities, and shaping dealer-facing narrative for key distribution and performance initiatives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drives leadership agendas through executive reviews, deep dives, and Senior Leadership Team meetings to ensure priorities are clear and actionable.​
  2. Translates leadership vision into strategic frameworks, measurable plans and guidance that align teams and drive execution.​
  3. Crafts strategic narratives, business visuals and messaging that support decisions and reinforce leadership intent.
  4. Shapes executive presentations and proposals for clarity, consistency (messaging and design) and alignment with enterprise and legal standards.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field, or the equivalent of 15 years in on-the-job experience with relevant strategy experience
  • Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.
  • Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
  • Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.
  • Understanding of the value of articulating an intended business outcome and ability to create and communicates a vision of the organization that motivates others to superior performance.
  • Knowledge of stakeholder management techniques; ability to systematically identify stakeholders, analyze their needs and expectations, and implement various tasks to engage with them.
  • Knowledge of consulting process; ability to engage in planning sales, conducting research and analysis, finding solutions and preparing recommendations.
