Strategy Manager - AI for Tech Transformation Program

This role supports a program driving the adoption of generative AI across JPMorganChase's technology organization, focusing on scaling AI-powered developer tools. The Strategy Manager will assist with transformation planning, track adoption progress, and create executive communications. Key responsibilities include coordinating AI tool rollouts, designing and maintaining engineering productivity metrics influenced by AI, and developing executive-level presentations. The role requires a strong understanding of the Generative AI ecosystem, experience with engineering productivity metrics, data visualization, and executive communication skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the planning and execution of Generative AI coding and developer productivity tool rollouts across JPMorganChase's technology organization.
  2. Contribute to the design and maintenance of AI-impacted engineering productivity metrics that quantify the value of generative AI tool adoption across development teams.
  3. Develop Operating Committee (OC)-level presentations, executive briefings, and leadership updates that clearly articulate program vision, progress, and impact.
  4. Partner with engineering, product, data science, and architecture teams to ensure AI tool rollouts reflect real-world developer needs and enterprise standards.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in technology strategy, management consulting, transformation program management, or a related field within a large, complex organization
  • Solid understanding of the Generative AI ecosystem, including familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar), LLM concepts, and the evolving AI developer toolchain
  • Experience developing or supporting engineering productivity metrics and KPIs, with the ability to help design measurement frameworks and track outcomes
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or Python-based visualization libraries) with a strong ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights
  • Strong PowerPoint and executive communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build polished, OC-level presentations that are both analytically sound and visually engaging
  • Comfort engaging with senior stakeholders, including the ability to operate professionally in fast-paced, high-visibility environments and support CIO-level interactions
  • Good technical acumen — the ability to engage credibly with software engineers and data teams on technical topics while maintaining a strategic perspective

Nice to have

  • Experience working within financial services, technology management consulting with one of the big three consulting firms or large-scale technology organizations with complex governance environments experience
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, DevOps/DevEx methodologies, or platform engineering concepts
  • Exposure to change management practices and experience supporting enterprise-wide adoption or behavioral change initiatives
  • MBA, degree in a quantitative discipline, or equivalent professional experience
